After giving this guy a proper defense ability (impervious) I can say that he is insanely good. I think the best power to give him if you have a choice, Invincible. I know tons of people dont like invincible, but giving him the ability to half all damage would just allow him to never die... ever.

I played against this guy with a blue battery.
I was playing Valkyrion with 11 attack, and Rainbow Raider.
He possessed his Wolverine with Black Hand so it had 4 damage and invulnerable, he perplexed up his defense so it was always a 20, and had a decoy construct.
So If I wanted to hit him with my Valkyrion, I would need to go through double shape change, a 9 on 2d6, and then I would have to hope he didn't just regen it all back up the next turn.

This guy is a monster with tactics.
Can shape change stack like that though? I always thought you could only get 1 of each power regardless of relics/resources
No, you can only use SC from either Blackhand OR the Decoy, not both. ;)
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Definitely the most accurate and kick ass Wolverine out at the moment and for his points he brings alot to the table of scariness and unkillability. Why not Butcher possess him and let his animal side take over and slice and dice your foes with those blades re-rolls.
A prime candidate for Supreme Intelligence resource. Keep him top dial and keep spinning SI's dial, then Wolverine morphs into a 900 point ranged monster.
I played this Wolvie with Black Hand and Green Decoy. Had a little miscalculation and Wolvie was left to fend of the whole 300pt X-Men team. And the little bugger decimated everyone.
I've had this guy sitting on a shelf specifically sit up with DOFP pieces since they dropped and for some reason never got around to playing him until last week. Not only did he basically gut my opponent's team, my opponent used Mind Control to use him to kill half MY team. (I got sloppy with positioning, totally my own fault.) I don't thing any other character defeated any other character on the board the entire game.
I may build teams around him until my Clixin' days are done and keep a kill list/tally for him. Like some kind of DC vs. Marvel nightmare, he KO'd Superman AND Sinestro...
This dude, paired with Nightcrawler from Web of Spiderman and Days of future past Angel, make for a wrecking crew in and of itself. Was fun to play that combo for sure.
Win/Loss: 7-3 This is a better designed Wolverine than most, and with the 2017 rules, he became even better. 7 clicks of life is a great start. His attack values are mostly average and that is a problem given his traditional Wolverine-bloated cost (130 points?!?!), but 5 clicks of Flurry gives him a form of poor-man's prob control. What really makes this Wolverine work is his traited Regeneration. Being able to heal (with Willpower) makes him very difficult to KO. The fact he can use it as a free action when he has 2 tokens makes him doubly hard to finish off as long as he is positioned carefully. Push to attack, get the 2nd token and free action for a regen roll (now minimum of 1). Next turn, if he survives, he will have 2 tokens still - so regen again. With good rolls he could be at top dial every third turn. I am not a fan of figures over 100 points that are close-combat specialists in smaller builds, but at 400 I would consider and at 500+ I would certainly reach for this Wolverine.

Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
