My friend and I like to play theme team matches if we are not practicing for an upcoming tournament or ROC event. Tonight we are playing a 400 pt shield vs inhumans battle. I usually make the teams and then we roll off for 1st pick of the two teams. Here are the teams.

The Inhumans is kind of a swarm team while the Nick Fury and Steve Rogers are more long range hitters. I would use Maximus with his TK to move Talon up then use Ultron to carry Maximus and move Thane into a safe position as far as I could. Second turn pop out an Alpha Primitive with Maximus, perplex the AP attack value and hopefully base with the AP, Talon and the Ultron.

Of course if I have the S.H.I.E.L.D. team I am setting up camp in the most favourable position with hindering hopefully and just peg away with the enhancements and long range bonuses from the TA.

Well I won the roll off and picked the Inhumans team. My friend chose a hindering terrain map from WOL. I jumped him with talon and the AP combining their SS with empower was a quick exit for Fury. His biggest mistake was not putting peggy Carter in front of him and choosing charge. That would have really hurt me. He also did not place his team in the correct spot. He took out talon on his second turn but I hit my leadership roll with ultron and took a token off maximus and pushed him again popping out a 2nd AP and perplexing his attack to 11 then picking up a light object moved 4 spaces for free then charged Steve Rogers with the other AP giving him 5 damage and hurting him bad. It was a mop up after that. The inhumans work well together and Maximus is a beast.
