Impervious only triggers when the attack would deal damage so unless a 12 is rolled powers like mind control and incaptate (spelling?) are completely unaffected, even from the dodge part of impervious

so why does the website for marvel heroclix still show the description of impervious to be different than the Indy rules release?
I have not heard of any updated Marvel PAC yet. I'm expecting it to come out around the release of Marvel Universe. For now, stick with the Indy rules.

does this include a mind control from range?
or is impervious now lacking the "super-sense" ability and only reduces damage to 0 or by 2?
Impervious is now only damage reduction and is activated when the character is dealt damage. And even if the impervous roll is successful, only the damage is reduced and the attack is still considered to have hit.
As was said, Mind Control deals "no damage" (which means no critical hit/miss damage as well) so impervious can not be used as no damage is being dealt.
