EE fig with two arrows fires two sep EE attacks that are increased with the Shield TA so that each fig hit is being dealt 2 damage. Is each explosion damage resolved separately?
Example
E-EE fig w/ two bolts and damage increased by Shield, crit hit and/or Enhancement +1
1. Enhancement does not increase the EE itself. Instead, you total up the damage dealt to each figure, and then increase the damage dealt values against each figure by 1.
2. Use of a figure's multiple arrows is not two separate attacks. It is, instead, a single attack that is targeting multiple figures. As a result, all damage from the attack resolves at once.
Each figure would be dealt 3 clicks.
For T and U---3 = 1 splash + 1 direct + 1 Enhancement
For X and X---3 = 1 splash + 1 splash + 1 Enhacnement

FAQ, Energy Explosion
Energy Explosion may be used with multiple targets. When used in this way, damage dealt is not divided among targets; instead, each target successfully hit is dealt 1 damage. Powers that increase damage dealt, such as Enhancement, increase total damage dealt to a character, even if that character was successfully hit by multiple instances of indirect Energy Explosion damage from a multiple-target Energy Explosion attack. For example:
ABC
A character with Energy Explosion targets characters A and C with a multiple-target Energy Explosion attack, and an adjacent friendly figure uses Enhancement to increase damage dealt from this attack by 1. The attack roll hits characters A and C, and is higher than character B’s defense value as well. Characters A and C are dealt a total of 2 damage (1 for energy Explosion, plus 1 for Enhancement). Character B is dealt a total of 3 damage (1 for each successful indirect hit for a total of 2, plus 1 for Enhancement).

First up, the two bolts do not represent two separate attacks, it's one attack with multiple targets. It's an important distinction.

It's one attack so all damage is resolved at once.

Let's take one at a time to make sure we get it down. If it is only increased by one SHIELD person (no enhancement or critical hit) the damage would all be at once and we would have:
- T dealt 3 damage (1 for initial + 1 for splash from U + 1 for SHIELD)
- U dealt 3 damage (same as T)
- each X being dealt 3 clicks (1 for splash from T + 1 for splash from U + 1 for SHIELD)
So basically, you determine the damage from the attack and then add the bonuses. If you then use enhancement on top of the SHIELD bonus you would increase those damages I listed by 1. If a critical hit is rolled again, each damage is increased by 1.
