Why does everybody hate this guy? Look at his dial 5 clicks of 18 defense and 3 clicks of 19!? On top of that he has 8 clicks of 5+ damage, half of them having Super Strength. His defense is nearly unheard of for a single base character. He has his Charge on his first 9 clicks with basically a 6 move charge on all of them. Plus his Outwit protection against one Outwit is awesome, most opponents won't have more than 1 outwit character on their team. As an added bonus he has Running Shot with a little range for his whole dial, not that i would use it as his main form of attack but still very nice to have even with his late dial battle fury. Not sure how this guy is 3 stars, maybe that will change once i play with him, but from where im standing, his dial looks outstanding.

I think players expected more....Nul is the big bad out of all of the worthy. There is another version of his non hulk persona being released which might satisfy players. I personally think ANY of the few hulk dials with range capabilities are vastly underestimated. In the rights hands Nul could destroy a team. Players reacted negatively to the 300 point Champion as well......and yet I KO'ed a 400 point wolverine and the xmen team. This is the usual response to a high point figure that doesn't have a range above an 8. Also for some weird reason players still view the standard power 'battle fury' as bad.....when its on a figure that is usually designed with NO RANGE it really shouldn't matter. But I like reactions like this....imagine my opponents reaction when a highly criticized brawler wrecks a small team. In other words I enjoy proving them wrong not by words....but by application.
This dial is great, my earlier comments should not have been posted here as my only complaints really are with the 200 point dial. At 300 he's a monster, and Worthy of each point you pay (seewhatIdidthere? :p). He'll wreck faces. Even his revert options are way better at 300, as you can land a few different Hulks at fantastic spots in their dials (and that's before we even see what Nul's Hammer gives). I messed up where I was posting, but since this thread is for the 300 point Nul I should say that I think he's good.
At 200 he's more frustrating than anything for me. I believe most of the negative reviews of this character are also for the 200 point dial, mine sure are. It's also quite interesting how polarizing it is for me, I can't think of another figure that is such night and day just between two point values.

Even at his 200 point value some of his stats are ridiculously high in terms of damage and defense. Most of the 'whine fest' on this figure stems from his battle furies compatibility with the powers his hammer grants. Honestly a hulk dial should NEVER be critisized for his lack of ranged abilities. Battle fury is a benefit on this dial not a hindrance. If players can't see this then they can play one of the many other hulk dials or the one other Nul dial....
Here's a question: would it be preferable to use Nul and revert to one of the Age of Ultron Hulks, or just start with one of the Age of Ultron Hulks in the first place?

If your goal is to win, you're better off just starting with one of the new Hulks.

People complaining that his Running Shot is useless with him having Charge on the dial either don't play him right or only play against opponents that are stupid enough to position their characters 6 squares from him. Use that 9 square Running Shot to close the gap to a figure that's to far to Charge, using his 12 av that's likely to hit. Sure, he only does 4 damage, which will probably reduced to 2, but that's still enough to bump most fig's attack and defense values down, meaning next turn you Charge in with the super-heavy for 8 to finish them off. 5 stars.
