alpha strike... verus 150+ point characters. yeah, i am not overly worried. seems over costed, look at those naked defense slots. super strength for two clicks.
i think this might be a good accurate representation of the character: big talk, picks fights he can't win, and always loses.
Those defense slots aren't naked, they're Invincible clicks. The movement powers are Sidestep and the last three slots of attack are Precision Strike. He's quite potent.
This guy took a beating in a match I played him. His charge and battle fury are great ignoring knock back and mind control. Really took some hits and his trait works great endgame. Thank god he has close combat expert on last click bc of low attack. Good piece
He's not that much of an alpha strike piece given he takes a little setting up (move to pick up an object, possible assignment of a hammer, etc), and may not fair greatly against another close combat brick but if he picks his mark he can change the game. He may not be best suited for a low point environment, but in larger point games he has the chance to cause some trouble.

The only way this guy is crossing the board to one shot Fantomex or Iron Pharoah is if one of them is parked next to a 150+ point character. His alpha strike trait only works on characters with a higher cost than him.
My favorite version. Cheaper and just as effective as the chase, while more robust than the CD Unique.

Just played him with slosh darkseid, smww steppenwolf, and smww brutaal. He was amazing, pick up an ultra heavy turn one, then clear next turn. Next turn double power action and attack because of Darkseid and brutaal he now has a +2 to his attack giving him a 13 with 7 damage. Then because of steppenwolf you remove one action Token. Next turn you will have a 14 attack with 5 damage (if he doesn't get hit, mine didn't) and once again removes an action Token. By the time kalibak finally died the other team was so mangled that it was a simple matter for steppenwolf to phase over and do some clean up.
