If I'm not mistaken,
Nick "Balls of" Fury cannot target thru this:
ABSOLUTE DARKNESS: Shadow Lass can use Smoke Cloud. Friendly characters that only occupy squares with these markers can't have lines of fire drawn to them, and opposing characters that only occupy squares with these markers can't draw lines of fire.
...right ???

Please quote the effect in question. Not only does it eliminate confusion (not everyone knows which effect you are talking about), but a second reading can often reveal the answer. For reference:
WATCHER'S EYES TO SEE SECRETS: Nick Fury can use Probability Control. Give Nick Fury a free action and choose a power that an opposing character within range and line of fire can use. That character can't use that power until your next turn.
Nick Fury does need line of fire for this to work. And while he does have a boatload of Improved Targeting, Absolute Darkness prevents him drawing LOF to characters in the squares of hindering terrain placed by this effect.

Thank you.
Yeah...
I certainly should have quoted Nick's power also.
