This character can use Energy Shield/Deflection and Sidestep. This character can use Perplex with a range value of 10, but only to target opposing characters assigned a relic or resource.

Now I'm taking a wild stab at how I read this and want to make sure I'm right.

If KC GL has a greed relic in his possession he's not getting a direct bonus to his stats, He's getting a power so he would still get the +2 against ranged attacks.

Greed lets a character use ES/D.

So GL can use ES/D. GL has the KC symbol, so he can modify the combat values of the KC chases with powers he can use.

So he can modify his own defense with ES/D.

that's what i thought. Just checking i was ruling that right
