A very nice update to the original, and fixes the pre-Indom issue of no reducer because of Willpower with gusto. That accursed JSA keyword and TA means I will probably cave and get one. While it hurts that after all this time the JSA gets a reliable 20 to top their old reliable 19s from back in the day and the Defenders still can't even get that 19 to throw around, I can only kvetch so much...I need to pull out some OLD SCHOOL JSA right now! Being possessable by Adara and remaining theme with a League or Lantern team hasn't escaped my notice either ><;

Overpowered as all hell... Put this thing with Prime Nighthawk and good luck dealing with his defense. Hope you roll crits!

I wonder if his defense can be bump up to 21 with the GL Ring and 23 with the Shield construct.

Nope, his trait prevents him from getting stat bonuses (or the opposite) from anything or anyone that does not have the KC TA.

He would get +2 from the shield. He is granted ESD, so he is the one using it.

I'm pretty sure they thought about that when they made him, and they seem to have given the chases beastly stats with the catch that you wouldn't be able to increase them (except with the new Harlequin that does have KC and Perplex), it would be surprising if the batteries and rings worked. The "source" is still a resource or a relic, so I would say he can't get those bonuses, unless there was a way to give a figure traited ES/D without the help of a resource or the power of a friendly character (that had the KC TA)

The ESD is the same as Superman Super Strength, so that could be done, the +1 from the ring on the other hand isn't.

I wouldn't be so sure. WizKids! designers have been known to make some blunders that game changing erratas had to be issued.

Seems like Harlequin Prime's the only one KC at the moment who can use Perplex... well, slapping the JLTW Greed relic or WoL Sinestro Ring on any of these KC figs can change that. Or for a Golden format, there's DocOct's Arms. Not that they are a must but rather there are ways to circumbent that lack.
