His first effect only works as Long the friendly character is adjacent to him - is this right? For example - after pimp the friendly character and this moves - the effect is lost?

As long as he is ADJACENT, they get the bonus. This means that you can have him right behind a firing squad of shooting/brawling robots (usually 3) and they get +1 AV and +1 DV. Alternatively, he could provide the +1 AV to 1 robot (or squad) and then move to give the +1 AV and +1 DV to a different robot (or squad). Remember that he only gives +1 DV to Robot keyworded friendlies.

I'm sure I'd use him if the tournaments at my local store weren't exclusively highlander with no mixing universes. Otherwise, he has extremely limited potential in the DC universe outside of the metal men.

I love this guy with my metal men. Is it crazy that I wish he had the teen kws too?

(of course he would only help Cyborg, Blue Beetle, Wildfire, Steel, and Iron Lad, since none of the Initiative or Legion are teens)
