There have been quite a few figures that can be cosmic. The unipolar floats around and possesses random people, some normal others super powered. I'm still waiting for cosmic invisible woman. But when daredevil got the power his sight was returned to him but his others senses went way over board so he had to really shut them down and pretty much lost his ability to see things coming. One panel he got wrapped up in like a bolo line and had to give up the unipolar to get out of it and fight better. The other figure is kind of redundant is silver surfer was possessed by the unipower. So he's cosmic powered captain universe.

That's really interesting about Daredevil. In a way it almost sounds like he was less capable with cosmic powers. I wonder how in the world they will represent that on a dial.
I have to say, Dylan's assessment of the WKO was pretty solid; everybody, almost to a person, was really friendly, and I was genuinely surprised because a lot of people didn't know what the prizing was for the event; I think, by and large, most people just showed up to play. Definitely hoping it continues down here next year; having moved to the area within the last few months myself, I was surprised by both the number of and quality of venues in the area, coming from a place that only had one within an hour's drive from it.

I was in Orlando as well. Definitely a great day of gaming. Dylan, were you wearing the ClixCast T-shirt? We didn't play or get to talk, but glad you were part of it.
I hear the weirdest things that (to me) don't make sense. So if you have the figure, the ruling matters to you. If you don't have the figure, it doesn't matter to you. What if you play against the figure? I'm also not sure what people expect Wizkids to rule on. Do they get their buff or debuff from a character with the KC TA symbol ? Yes? It counts. No? It doesnt.

No. The ruling matters regardless. However if one owns the figure in question, the ruling affects you more directly.
As for what we are wanting them to rule on: can you say with certainty where the damage modifier comes from when making a close combat attack with an object?
For my opinion, I own all 6 now, but even before the idea for me.......a character has super strength or TK, without it they wouldn't be able to use the object for an attack. Regardless of whether the damage modifier comes from the object or not, it's that figures power allowing it to happen. There is no power involved in a bonus from terrain, it may not be a golden rule, but it has been around from the start. I know it has to come from wizkids alone, but I think their intent was to only cancel out modifiers and outwit from other figures. That would have been the best way to word it
"This figure may not have it's combat values modified or powers or abilities countered by other figures unless they have the KC team ability."
Simple, not too wordy and takes up less space than what they already have on it. Also I don't think there are many ways to twist that wording. I may be wrong. There may be someone out there that can find ways to twist anything to help them and hurt their opponent.

Your wording allows modifiers from resources and relics. I wonder if their wording was meant to eliminate that.
Could have been, but adding the term resources and relics will still make it short and simple. But it will also allow for linking dials.
Honestly, this is kind of what the figures DON'T need. Personally, I feel that the figs should be allowed to modify their own values (a la Super Strength/ESD/CR/CCE/RCE/Perplex) but feel that their generally low price point overall and already astronomical values make it so they shouldn't be able to be modified by resources/relics/etc unless said resources/relics/etc give them the aforementioned powers. It's part of what makes them reasonable.

It affects you. Not directly or indirectly or 50% or 22.8% or whatever weird thing you try to justify. If you own the piece, it's YOUR choice whether you chose to play it or not. You have zero say-so what your opponent plays. Like I said before and I think you helped my point, I hear the weirdest things from this clixcast"
