So this jerk has this :
WATCHER'S EYES TO SEE SECRETS: Nick Fury can use Probability Control. Give Nick Fury a free action and choose a power that an opposing character within range and line of fire can use. That character can't use that power until your next turn.
So it says he can target a power, not an ability. Now my question is when you have a special trait ability like :
WORLD'S FINEST TEAM: World's Finest's power and abilities can't be countered and their combat values can't be decreased.
Wouldn't that mean that Nick Fury can't target World's Finest then because this is an ability now, not a power?
Just a thought, I'm trying to figure away around this jerk!
He can target any power on World's Finest. Counter and Can't Use are two different things.. He can not pick a trait but he can pick a power granted by a trait.
The definition of a power is something that appears on the powers sheet. If it were a part of a special power then yes, but it isn't a special power, nor is it a conventional power. Thus you can't make it to where it can't be used that is what my ruling would be.

I only have 1 rule if it's not x-men I don't play it.

That's what I was thinking, if I'm reading you right. Since the World's Finest is a special trait, denoted by a star on the characters dial, whatever wording should be considered an ability. Therefore Nick Fury should not be able to touch it.
Now if it were just a special white box power then yes, I could see where he could turn that off all day long.
In a scenario i was told about i was playing super doom and his powers can only be countered by a krptonian but i was told nick fury could take my powers away, he's like a mini orange lantern

To be clear, WATCHER'S EYES TO SEE SECRETS has no effect on traits. Traits are not powers.
However, Nick could target World's Finest and prevent them from using some power (maybe HSS, as an example). This is because WATCHER'S EYES TO SEE SECRETS does not counter anything, so WORLD'S FINEST TEAM can't do anything to stop this effect.
Additionally, if there were a trait on a character that allowed the character to use a power (let's pick on Hulk... many Hulk's can use Super Strength via trait), then Nick could target that character and still prevent the use of that power. He's not preventing the use of the trait (it's still technically being used), but the power it grants is no longer usable.
