This figure is straight up filthy. LMS game night ended with him on top dial against the Original Avengers Thor and Iron Man on #1, a wounded OA Hulk, and a wounded SI Spider-Man and took them all down. I'm definitely impressed, this is not an easy figure to hit ....
Woah! I usually go Marvel, and mostly ignore DC, but this guy... this guy is gonna get me to buy WF. Love the sculpt, I have a soft spot for mystics, and that's an awesome dial. 12 range is ludicrous! Add TK, and nothing is safe! I can see why this is a chase, 130 points buys you 12 range, 12 AV 4 DaV P/PB, 19 DV with SS, KC and Mystics TAs, prob, and Phasing. Phasing is great, btw. I want this so bad.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and tasty with ketchup.
Same here, always been a Marvel fan... but this set has definitely appealed to me (happens every other DC set). First booster I bought, pulled this guy and by now I have almost all the mystics in the set ( Damn you Shazam!)
Played this guy possessed with black hand on a mystics theme team. I felt terrible doing it, with his 12 range combined with 6 squares from running shot means he will almost always get the first hit.
Was finally able to trade for a Shazam!... along with Spectre, it's an even 300 pts. Shazam! is a tough brick and Spectre is a deadly sniper. I know it's not meta worthy, but still feels really cool to play this duo in "friendly" games ;)
The lack of the Justice Society keyword is criminal (the third remake in the past 2+ years without it)! Standard size benefits Spectre to some degree, but he is best used at 35 points in lower point formats as an add-on. Great sculpt.

Well, then! This piece is superb in sculpt and powers representation. What's that you say? You think it's a bit fragile? Well, let me stop you there my friend. So lets say you want a good old fashioned 300 point team. Why not do some mystical theme team mischief? And who better to pair with the mysterious spectre than Doctor Freaking Fate! A solid 170 point FF WoTW Doctor Fate that comes with the Helmet of Fate? Sign me up! His power does a super senses reroll without line of fire? Well hot dang 4 lines of defense to range attacks for Spectre means you have a 66% chance to get that roll. I can say without a doubt that is pretty great. And the doctor fate can do some energy explosion for hordes while spectre picks 'em off. And both with mystics! Oh how the tables have turned.
***News Flash - The Reality Gem's Perplex now works on characters that have the "We Will Make Things Right Again" trait IF the gem is equipped on a character that has the K.C. T.A. in the first place.
A possible 5 damage at 12 range. Ouch!

They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." Robert Downey/Tony Stark
Absolutely, still an amazing piece today. No improved targeting hindering hurts, but you can put Daimonic Ring on him to fix that. Losing map could potentially be devastating for him depending on your opponent brought, but still worth playing. Just build a theme.
