I just love this piece on any robot theme team. I like the way she just completes those 25 pts. on my gotg047B Prime Thanosi, gotg045 Veteran I.S.A.A.C. and gotg016Nebula team. Assign her to I.S.A.A.C., and you've got a mean RS, Teleport carrier, triple target, Energy Explosion machine... or instead of RS, you can have Precision Strike with 10 range... Nebual preventing opponents from using Carry and Thanosi's trait preventing them to ignore terrain can really disrupt their plans...
Can someone clarify. The Errata seems to have removed the need for it to be a standard figure. Can she possess giants? Or is it something that is written into the rulebook for all possessions? I want to play her with WF58 Alloy
Old wording:ENTITY POSSESSION: When Entity would be KO’d or, if you pay 25 points when building your force, place Ion on another friendly character’s card if that character is 25 points or more, has the “fist” or “sharpshooter” symbol, the “shield” or “indomitable” symbol, and the “tiny” or “burst” symbol. That character has the White Lantern Corps keyword and can use the Possessed ability with this character as the Possessor. When that character is KO’d, Ion is removed from the game.
New wording:Entity Possession When Entity is KO’d or if you pay 25 points when building your force, equip this character to a friendly character and link it to that character’s dial.
ALL possession characters lost all symbol requirements...
Unless I've missed something, you can only link a dial to Standard Characters. They've redefined what a standard character is, you can read about it here.
Oh internet, you never fail to share the misinformation.
The requirements for possession have been tightened up, not lightened up. You can only possess "standard figures," which excludes tiny/giant/colossal figures, as well as duos, team bases etc.
Yeah that's why I was asking about possession more. Her errata as written without knowing the rules for possession just says friendly character with the robot or armor keyword
That's the 'fun' of this game--the rules are constantly rewritten and streamlined. The rulebook now spells out equipment and possession explicitly. It's up to you to read those rules, understand them, then apply Jocasta's extra caveat to them.
This should end this thread - there's only one logical target for Jocasta to possess:
is just made to possess this:
... (pick Range to increase by 1, and pick Precision Strike, or to be rude, perplex your own attack to really make sure you hit and trigger that brutal trait) ...
