When Iceman attacks a character using his "Frozen Solid" trait, would he also deal damage? You are giving him a "close attack" and it doesn't say "instead of dealing damage..."
Brainiac's best friend. He provides him with almost everything he needs, from a +1 to damage and penetrating damage (so he can Running Shot/Pen-Psy Blast and then hit for 3 with his amazing trait, to outwitting a problematic power to FREAKING PULSE WAVE WHICH IS AMAZEBALLS WITH HIS DAMAGE SPECIAL.
So lets talk about his Trait, specifically this line:
Quote
At the end of the next turn, remove the Ice Wall marker.
So the next turn, in most games will be your opponents turn, so the end of that turn. Why change from the usual "beginning of your next Turn" language? Maybe to encourage less abuse in 3+ player games?
Sweet fig! 2 Target ranged incap is glorious! Icy Fate is huge as most opponents will be setting up to prevent Frozen Solid. The lack of Outwit protection and Indom is a small set back. Iceman here is a 'finesse' style figure. He has a short dial with a 11 attack and no ways to deal penetrating. Precision helps this mid dial while barrier and regen can help keep Iceman moving. 2 Target Icy Fate is huge giving the Iceman player 3 ways to tie down opposing figures a turn!

Correct me if I am wrong assuming all attacks hit:
Opposing characters A, B, & C
Running shot moving though A's square. Target B & C with range attack. Do 3 damage split between B & C. B & C get action tokens. Close attack A. A gets dealt 2 damage, action token, frozen solid.
Frozen Solid: When Iceman moves, after actions resolve you may make a close attack targeting a single opposing character whose square he moved through and didn't target with an attack that action. If you hit, attach the Ice Wall marker to that character, removing it from any other character. As long as the Ice Wall marker is attached, that character can't be moved, placed, given actions, or targeted with an attack. At the end of the next turn, remove the Ice Wall marker.
Regarding the bold part, is that supposed to be a free action that could bypass free actions limiting powers like Green Power Battery's Emotional Spectrum? I mean it feels like a free action attack but it doesn't confirm it's a free action either.

It is specifically "After Actions Resolve". It doesn't say "as a free action." So you can do it.
