Moving on, what does everyone think of the sculpt?
Unlike the other heroes that have been turned into Captain Universe, this one seems more "generic uni-power" to me, and not really indicative of a Daredevil flavor.

When it comes to Superman and Batman, Grant Morrison is nothing but a 50's cover band in a 70's psychedelic funk style.

Are you saying he won't be "winning" any beauty pageants?
It's not all about that, you know. The sculpt serves the purpose of showing Daredevil with uni-power. It seems fun.

Fun...fun...fun...fun...fun...fun...fun...
As if taking that last bit of bait wasn't enough of an indicator, you just had to show beyond any doubt that you're incapable of bowing out gracefully.
In any case, while there's nothing "wrong" with the sculpt, I just see it as rather generic. Apart from the horns, it could be anyone as Captain Universe. It doesn't really seem to have the flavor, the feel, the fun, of a Daredevil. But that's just me.

While I see what you mean, I think the problem of "genericness" lies with the source and not with the sculpt. The figure seems to be a nod to the cover of Captain Universe starring Daredevil, albeit with the uni-power manifesting vehind him instead of around his hands. So, while not as epic as I tend to like from con sculpts it does appear to meet the need to represent the material.

All true. It's certainly not a bad sculpt, and it has a feeling of motion to it, so there's that. I'm normally all for basing sculpts on cover images and iconic poses, that usually works fine. Here, it just seems to be lacking some essential "Daredevilness," so I might have been happier if they'd gone with an interior image, as they did with Cosmic X-23, rather than the cover, like Cosmic Hulk.
Not a major deal. Just a bit of a let down in the flavor aspect, when compared with previous Daredevils, recipients of the unipower, and con exclusives. Still pretty.
