Maybe it is because I am a new player, but did WizKids really use the term "Feedback Damage" in a power? What happened to the more professional language of "This Character is not dealt unavoidable damage when using Mind Control."

Feedback damage is a shortened version of the doesn't take unavoidable damage from mind control. Just like STOP. For the stop clicks and close and ranged attacks.
little frustrated with this piece. He has potential, but i feel like he would get blown off the map before you can use him effectively. His "let me help you clear your head' power would have been nice if they added something similar like they did with president luthor, "Professor x is considered adjacent to any friendly character attacking or adjacent to an opposing character with a ceribro token on its card."
That and the fact that you play him to bring outwit to your x-men team and you have to push him to get to it.
I like the way they've gone with this version not an obvious auto pick but should be fun to build a team round and may see some play as a silver bullet against equipped characters. Personally I like the use of the phrase "feedback damage" its regularly used by the player base already as shorthand the same way we talk about "splash" damage so why not use it in streamlining the rules.
Just an add on from azure archers comment:

I loved the way you phrased that something about it made me think of Obi Wan Kenobi "Not as clumsy as a blaster. An elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.”
I like that this version of Chuck can be used as "centerpiece" support character for cheaper, classic versions of the New Mutants and X-Men, while also having greater utility on more competitive teams.
I love that they've shortened the Mind Control damage to 'feedback damage'; as a game designer, anything that saves space on materials or streamlines language across the board helps quite a lot. Ideally, they'll just define "feedback damage" in the main rules so it can be a standard inclusion on future MC figs.
