I asked for a little clarification about "object attacks" and was redirected to this definition:
An "object attack" is any attack in which a heavy or light object (held or otherwise) is used as part of the attack. Using a held object with a close attack, throwing an object, and attacking with an object through the use of Telekinesis are all examples of "object attacks".
That's just obscene. On click 3-5 he could swing for 6 damage (Close Object Attack), 5 damage (Close Object Attack; -1 from Damage Depletion Modifier), and then potentially shoot or swing for another 2 (Close/Ranged Attack, P/PB, PW, etc.; -2 from Damage Depletion Modifier). After that ruling, I'm left wondering if he's OP or not.
On his first click, one way to do it is with objects in ranged attacks; I think the best way to go is first use you regular attack 3dmg and then use the object attacks 3dmg x 2, for a total of 9 dmg. The regular attack needs to be first to avoid DDM and the object attacks have a 3dmg locked value.
If you go the close attack route; I guess you must use the objects first, so 5dmg + 4 dmg + 1dmg for a total of 10 dmg. First attack 3 dmg +2 object dmg, second one is 2 dmg(DDM-1) + 2 object dmg, last one 1 dmg (DDM -2) ... does this make any sense???

Reason: I live in two different dimensions at the same time and forget stuff all the time...
Using the object attack rulings, on turn 1, top click, with the use of clever taxi'ing, This Magneto could unleash both Metal scraps in the free action attacks and drop a close ranged Heavy weapon strike for 5 then a second for 4 due to DDM -1, totaling 9.
Using this same logic, if you hold until Turn 2, same scenario, There's a total possiblity of unleashing 12 dmg in a single turn, if dice go your way.
Now, this dial is heavily reliant on Map choice and team composition but that kind of dmg output, that can be repeated throughout the game and gets even more volatile on later higher damage clicks? This is my new favorite Magneto.
I don't believe that's entirely correct. For certain, turn 1 he's taking a power action to get the scrap tokens to begin with. Also, you can't activate the same free action twice on the same turn so you can only make two token attacks.

Reason: Fee is not free.
This Magnet o has some mad damage potential. Assuming we're on click 3 and have some combination of 3 perplexes, empower or other positive modifier to damage (for close combat), you could pump his damage to 7 (4+3), then do a first attack for 7 (ranged or close and sidestep in). Then do two close object attacks both for 7 damage. The objects attacks would have a total modifier of +5, -1 DDM for the first then -2 DDM for the second resulting in a net +3 each attack. That's a potential 21 clicks of damage!! :o
The non-free action must come first to take advantage of the object modifier cancelling out the DDM. P/PB and Outwit help make that damage stick. Lots of work to pull off, but it is doable.

What part exactly is incorrect, Daven? The Power action he takes from his Trait is merely to destroy the blocking terrain/walls and give him the Scrap metal tokens. Removing them is a free action enabling the two object attacks, So that is most definitely a viable option on turn 1.
As for Turn 2, others have echoed that his basic attacked followed by the free action double object attack is viable. So where's the rub?

Reason: wrong quote
My mistake, you are correct on both points. I'd forgotten you can free action after being carried and for some reason, on turn 2, I thought you were proposing two free action scrap metal attacks. My apologies.
I am trying this Magneto + SR Scarlet Witch. Attach Hex Magick marker on him, his 2 object attack + regular attack should give nice chance to get a crit hit.
Outsider becomes a X-men, now you can have a backup plan when things start to go very wrong, or you can set up a "teleport" triple attack. Sadly i don't think Pixie is really a good taxi. It could be so broken if we got something like "wxm041 Spiral"'s .
Is there an official-ish answer to the question "can Magneto use the scrap metal pieces in a close attack for 5 and 4 damage respectively as if he were using Super Strength (since his trait says "as if he were holding...?". Please, a "yes" would be the foundations of my new team
