I do not understand why players are pleading their case about the figures used in a competitive tournament. Most of the players insulting others do not have a skill to compete at the highest level, but will state they do not have the desire. They rather "be the man" at their local venue. So, let the children play.

kajara - if you look at all the ROC results this one is by far the least diverse (going by what has been reported). If you can't "understand" that, I don't know what else to say. There are Nick Fury teams, CopyCat teams, Highfather teams and then "the field". This compilation of teams is only the typical. The typical is boring, as in, after reading this 'update' NOTHING has changed.

And can we stop mentioning Felix Faust, please? Last year at worlds I was 2-0 and THEN played a guy with Faust, I lost in a roll off because I couldnt play Heroclix for 50 minutes. so 2-1 I go against Paris and lost in a roll off again to Felix Faust. I end up at 2-2 and lost zero figures. I didnt bother with day 2.
Nick Fury is about 45 pts undercosted but as one player already said, Felix doesnt let one player even play. All I could do was pick powers on my entities.

I feel like the saying "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" should be the motto here. It's kind of a downer to check in on these threads and see a bunch of people complaining about teams at a tournament they didn't even go to.

For the record, I feel that Balls of Fury is far too good for what a player pays for him. He's overpowered, possibly broken. But he's not ban-worthy. An errata would be nice, but he's not so fundamentally obscene that he needs to be banned.

Faust on the other hand, was proven easily capable of stopping an opponent from doing anything meaningful for the entire game. Your "Heroclix Force" became your opponent's Punching Bags, little more. He absolutely needed to go, and even post-errata, needs to stay gone. Perhaps after the retirement cycle the ROC Board would look at reintegrating him, but it would probably be best it if they looked at more important matters that they've been ignoring for years first.

If Balls of Fury is bringing a gun to a knife fight, Felix Faust is bringing Aliens to one. There's no comparison.

I dont get it. Teams look diverse to me. Sure people used Nick or Skrull but the support is all different. Would be stale if it was literally the same build or 2 over and over. Nick can be beat, Super Skrull had first place.
Isnt Nick only able to see through printed hindering? With 400 points you can bring a silver bullet and still have an all round competitive team.
