My only beef having played her, is the lack of a ClickFX for her special shapeshift ability. Everyone else has some sort of removable base to signify their ability, so it only makes sense.
@BrokenSVT- Everyone who has a ClixFX piece places that piece on someone else or somewhere else when they use the correlating power. Professor X places his mental block, Scarlet Witch places her Hex, Quicksilver places his mirage, etc., etc. Mystique doesn't manipulate anyone but herself with her shape-shifting trait, so the need for a ClixFX marker is not necessary.
Yes. Pulsewave ignores all unless otherwise stated
This is what I assumed, but sometimes whenever "cannot be targeted" is brought up around here, it opens up the floodgates of debate. I felt the same way about WF 030 The Wizard. Anyway, Mystique is a total MVP--sneaking around behind enemy lines and getting them into position with forceblasts.
For constructed play, I only run named themed teams. I LOVE that Mystique combines with the rest of the Brotherhood of Mutants pieces in this set for an even 300 points. Thank you WizKids.
I love this figure. She plays like I imagine Mystique should play. I also love the fact that she arrives just in time to take the torch from DoFP Mystique who is about to rotate out.
@BrokenSVT I know how you feel about no ClixFX base and understand why they didn't include one. I bought the ClixFX set and will be using a smoke FX Base for her 'token.'
Can she be hit by a tk'ed objact in the same way as a character in stealth?
TK'ing an object requires a ranged attack "targeting" the character, so no, she cannot be hit by a tk'ed object because she cannot be targeted. There was some discussion in the rules forum here about that precise issue.
Can quicksilver attack her if she's beside one of his shadow markers?
Here's the relevant part of his ability: "Whenever Quicksilver makes a close attack, he may target characters adjacent to the Speed Shadow marker."
You should submit this to the rules forum, but I would say no, he can't target her because *he* is still not adjacent to her at the beginning of his turn, nor does the marker make it as if he is adjacent to her, only that he can attack characters adjacent to the marker.
