The Flash arrived with Susan Richards at the Shield infirmary in Chicago.

Sue immediately ran to her weakened husband, her eyes filled with concern.

Sue looked up, blinking away tears and then rushed to embrace her old friend. "Ben! you're here too! It's been so long."

Clea was suitably awed by the sight of a sleeping Cthulhu.

None of them had a ready solution. Not Zatanna, not Dr. Strange, not Dr. Fate.

They only saw possible impending doom.

I'm arguing with myself about whether I want to move on to Arkham Asylum or do an interlude where I deal with what all the characters I've already brought in have been up to.

I honestly can't remember what I did with some of the characters I brought in to this story.

I've decided to do a short interlude explaining what Lex Luthor has been doing since he was ousted from ruling Metropolis as an overlord by Superman.
