That is true. Now if you run two of them, he has his buddy and you're getting +2 perplex twice ;)

this guy and the Robot ATA seem to be pretty good together

The Metal Men and the Robot ATA are pretty bonkers in general, this guy just pushes it over the edge. I'm a pretty casual player, but I actually managed to win my local tournament with the Metal Men this week. They're a VERY technical team to play, and the require a LOT of sequencing and positioning, but once you get the hang of them, they can be really solid.

Who are you guys pairing the metal men with?

Doc Magnus is a jerk. I mean, he programmed the responsometers in the Metal Men, right? So why did he program Tin to have a stutter? That is just mean man. He also made Lead dumb, Mercury a jerk, and Platinum hot. They didn't have any choice in the matter. That's just how they were made. That is the same thing I told the police after I was arrested for burning down that restaurant that fired me for stealing money from the register. I was like, "Hey, if you can find me a better responsometer, then I won't be this way!" And then they got confused and tazed me. Aaaaaaand I peed myself. Which was awkward, because that cute girl that I used to work with was there at the seen of the crime, and she saw me pee my pants. Now she's NEVER going to go out with me. Well, plus the fact that I am a convicted arsonist. Stupid Doc Magnus for making me this way. But at least I don't have a freaking stutter! FIX TIN YOU FREAKING JERK!!!

That escalated rather dramatically... all responsometers aside, this guy makes opponents stutter when he starts pumping the stats of his fellow Metal Men. A top notch perplexer and a must in every Metal Men team.
