Hello,
Just wanted to know if you are using TWO Klarion Witchboys and have TWO Teekls out...
can one Klarion activate and drop a Teekl on the map, it attack and then ends adjacent to the OTHER Klarion. Can it then be reattached to the OTHER Klarion?
Just confused as to why and how the cat can go back and forth on different Klarions? And if opponent has one? can u steal it?
Thanks
~Mad

TEEKL THE DRAGGA-CAT: Teekl begins the game attached to Klarion the Witch-Boy. When Teekl is attached, Kalrion the Witch-Boy can use Super Senses. Give Klarion the Witch-Boy a free action and either place an attached Teekl adjacent or attach an adjacent friendly Teekl.
I think the key phrase is this: "attach an adjacent friendly Teekl." I believe this leaves it open should you run multiples.
Other similarly worded powers tend to refer to the named character, which typically indicates the one that began attached.
Definitely worth an ask though.

I'm pretty sure this has been answered before for similar figures, but I can't find a specific ruling at the moment. While not actually a bystander, this entry would likely covers Teekl and similar characters:
Quote
[C]When a game effect allows a character to create bystanders, the effects of those bystanders, and effects applying to those bystanders, only apply to the specific character that created the bystanders and not all same named characters or characters that can also create the same named bystanders.
That said, I'd advise asking WKs directly, as its obviously not clear cut right now.
The "attach an adjacent friendly" implies that it can be from a different Teekl.
This is probably one where we have to wait for "design intent" to make a ruling from on high - if an Orange here says "use this clarification pending a ruling", then ... that's our provisional ruling.
Well we dont make provisional rulings, just give our opinion for you/your judge to take or leave.
I am inclined to agree with Lantern as well. There is also this (similar but not definitive as a 3D Bystander is neither a marker or a token)...
[C]When a game effect allows a character to create or place tokens or markers, those tokens or markers and the effects of those tokens or markers only apply to the specific character that used the effect and not all same named characters, or characters that can also use that same effect.

Oh, absolutely. I'm basing it on the bystanders ruling, and the ruling for characters placing tokens/markers/etc. not counting for other characters with the same name/power. They've made it pretty obvious they don't want characters "sharing" things. I don't see why this wouldn't extend to Teekl and other characters like this, but until they specifically address it, that's all I have to go on.
I'm like 99% certain this had been ruled for another character at one point, but like I said, I can't find it or anything like it. If anyone finds anything, please post a link.
The issue right now is that Teekl isn't "created." He is simply attached or not.
Again, I can see it being ruled in line with those but right now, the specific wording of "an adjacent friendly teekl" rather than "adjacent Teekl" makes me feel like they were going for something else.

Understood that you don't make provisional rulings.
I'm somewhat of the "older school" - that in the absence of an official WK ruling, the people recognized for their "rules-fu" and granted Orange status on this website - that it means something ... and that barring any other authority, if an Orange (and esp. if more than one Orange) says "it doesn't work", then ... it doesn't work.
I know there's no link whatsoever to WK and that you're all volunteers.
