If my opponent, as an example, had 2 Ultron Drones + The Atom and I mind controlled one drone to attack the other would on the following round the Colossal Retaliation trait activate against the Drone who made the attack or just ignore the attack since the drone is now friendly again?

COLOSSAL RETALIATION: ATOMIC PUNCH: Give The Atom a free action if no other Colossal Retalliation power has been activated this turn and choose an opposing character that attacked The Atom or damaged a friendly character since your last turn. Place The Atom such that he can make a close combat attack targeting the chosen character, then do so with an area of effect that includes all other characters within 2 squares of the target. Opposing character can't use Combat Reflexes, Shape Change, or Super Senses for this attack. Hit characters are each dealt 2 penetrating damage instead of normal damage.


MIND CONTROL Give this character a close or ranged combat action (minimum range value 4) that deals no damage. A successfully hit target becomes friendly to your force. Each target hit may be assigned one action as a free action, immediately after which the target becomes an opposing character again. Deal this character 1 unavoidable damage if the successfully hit targets’ combined point value is 150 points or more.

The Ultron Drone could not be chosen for Colossal Retalliation as it is not opposing to the Atom when the action to activate it is given.
