Primary Question: So I've been wanting a good carnage comic to read with a more modern art style (I'm picky like that). I decided I want to read the 5-volume series written by Zeb Wells and Illustrated by Clayton Crain. However, Vol 1 seems to have vanished off the face of the Earth. I've scoured the internet for an unused physical copy but I might as well be looking for Santa Claus. Is there some online, comic-book holy grail where I could find what I'm looking for or do I need to cut my losses and look for used?
Secondary Question: I'm fairly new to the comic scene so I've probably missed out on some great series' and I'm a collector when it comes to physical items so I either want every comic I read in mint, physical format or none at all. So my question is, if I'm going to run into this mint, physical-copy issue with everything I want to read, should I just subscribe to Marvel Unlimited (since that's what I mostly read anyway) and save myself some headaches? Is it worth the $10 per month? Is the entire Marvel collection available?
Any advice is much appreciated!

That Carnage one looked interesting but I wanted something finite of Carnage that I could binge read when I'm not busy at work. I'm assuming the series you mentioned is still ongoing? I have a personal bias towards Carnage when comparing the two symbiote monsters so he was the one I wanted to start reading first, although I'll definitely keep that venom series in my back pocket. Will I be upset by the incomplete ending?

Yes, you should absolutely subscribe to Marvel Unlimited. It's the best comics-reading value you can find. The newest stuff is released on a few months delay, but their library is incredibly deep. You'll be able to keep reading for ages in there.

Yeah, I decided that I probably will get it before the summer is over. I've been in the market for a tablet for school and so forth, so I think I'll be starting a MU subscription when I decide on a tablet.
