I don't know about best piece... I think Krang is honestly the best in set. I'd put him at 3rd behind Chase Raphael. I pulled both chase Raph and Krang, but I bought a chase Mikey immediately after opening my case (along with missing rares and SRs)
I was lucky enough to pull him in sealed and he destroyed! That 11av 3dv tokening flurry then hop over for another 2 damage tokening attack wiped the floor with all the foot clan minions. And his stealth and imperv kept him well protected. Amazing figure.

Mikey is really good, it’s sad that they didn’t give him empower, but that would make Raph too overpowered. I like the perplex to show his personality, and him picking up super senses to show his natural agility. The half dial of three damage along with his attack power makes him a force to be reckoned with. I also love the end dial incap because it either gives you the option to perplex for cracking reducers, or just tokening more characters. His last click (comparatively) uses the attack upswing the least, but he can still put in work with the incap or a friendly turtle with outwit or enhancement.
As a unit, they are amazing together and they look so cool, the dials are awesome and they’re more flavourful, unique and powerful versions of the commons. Both traits are thematic and emphasize positioning and teamwork. I love the end dial upswing in attack values and the subtle stat differences of each piece. I’ve gone 50-0 with the turtles, but have since retired them to display pieces as sadly there are now modern pieces (ABPI Black Bolt) that can shred the team in two attacks. Really the only thing that could improve them would be ignoring hindering for movement. This was the first and only chase set I ever really wanted, and luckily between pulling one, and trading I got all four a couple months after the set came out.
Via his ATTACK SP, Web-Shooters allow him to give 2 action tokens per hit—WITH FLURRY! Combine it with his second trait, and you can hand out 6 action tokens in one turn.
