The more I look at the 30 point option, the more I want this figure in my collection for the ability to play it at that point value alone, nevermind the high-defense cheese of the full point version. I mean, yes, I plan on doing that as well, but 30 points buys me ridiculous range Barrier for 2/3 rounds of the game until my opponent decides to deal with it AND friend-plex? That's worth 30 points *alone*, and if left unchecked he can still become a scary last-ditch beatstick. It's like finding extra whipped cream on your milkshake, what's not to love?
Arguendo of the Beige Lanterns (Pedantry Corps)
Feb 2015: JL Trinity War has have given us the CSA, playable and together. Twice. ROCK ON!
REClixed: Justice for Dmitri Pushkin (your sacrifice will not be forgotten)! New generic Rocket Red @50-75 points while we're at it? Still no 19DV Defender? (WoS Groot doesn't count)
Power Girl AND Bust.
Silly question, he can use Perplex on himself right? and if he's on the same team as a full-point version of another of the chases, he can use Perplex on them as well, right?
And...another question, if you bring this guy to a battle along with Morro, and he dies, does morro get to choose any click of life Alan has even though he was used at the 30 point line?
He has the KC TA, so he can use perplex on himself.
He has the KC TA, so he can use perplex on a figure with the KC TA.
Note that I don't think he has this trait on the 30 point dial. But I'm relying on the units section - I don't own any of the KC WF chase figures, so I can't check the actual figure/card.
I believe not. I believe he's considered to be only on that "starting line", which means that Morro would be limited to that "band", which is only one click in length. But ... I've been wrong before.
That could be too easily abused. Here - I'll give him a ranged combat action - ok, no attack value, no range, but ... here's a token. Turn 2 - do the same, decline to use his Indom, push, die, pop - any click! No, I don't think so.
The lower point Isolated trait and the full point Make things right again traits are mutually exclusive, but being a KC figure possessing the power that gives Perplex, he can Perplex himself or other KC pieces.
I find myself using this point value more than the other, especially since he can Perplex any of the new KC pieces. Their stats being so nuts, even one Perplex is a huge deal.
I simply adore how good this point value is. In addition to everything else, providing a copyable 18 defense via JSA is amazing. Especially in a Justice League team with Stargirl, TW Lex Luthor, or New 52 John Constantine (the 3 JL keyworded figures who have JSA or are wildcards).
of all the low point options for KC figures, this one is probably the best. Barrier and Perplex are certainly good powers on their own, but giving both of those with a 9 range for only 30 points? Simply amazing.
