Agreed, only real complaint about the new one is lack of Doom Patrol...because, seriously, it's a sub-theme of the set, there's no reason to leave it off. The Collateral Damage figures I remember getting a lot of use out of, but they were mostly for tie-up and surprise plays, not a workhorse. The main thing about coming out at the advent of the 9/17/3 era but before dial compression was that just about everyone else had it too, so it wasn't exactly a bad thing. It just hasn't aged well, especially since the extra dial length contributes to flagging stats.

I posted a joking review about jltw034 Element Woman, but it's true that I cheated and used a sculpt-swapped version as a stand in for Rex the moment it came out. Until WF version hit the shelves since the dial was a decent budget stand-in for what Rex can do without having crepe values, but now for the 12 points I'll take the real deal.

Its a trademark conflict with toys. And he's always been called the Element Man. Its a title, yes, but I'd rather have that on the base over "Rex Mason".

I did that as soon as I got mine. Easy enough to do, and one of the most required sculpt swaps I've ever done. I can live with Captain Cold's silly new "no arms" outfit, I really can. Metamorpho standing there doing nothing, identically sculpted with Major Force? No. Just no.

I actually think I'm going to go the mod route, now that I think about it. Could be cool figuring out what pose/effects to use.
