It's unlikely to happen but if you manage to get a crimson band token and an energy dampner token on the same character, are they now permanently locked into not being able to do anything? They can only take power actions but can't be given power actions?
Wouldn't Impossible Man just destroy this figure given that Doc has almost all the colors.
Impossible Man checks for powers a figure can use. That's only the powers showing on the dial or in a trait. If it looked for powers the character has at any point it would say "showing on the card" instead of "can use"
And he never has any purple green lime or brown powers. (unless he rolls and gets them)

Just wondering if there was any ruling on this? I believe if someone rolled for crimson bands and any/ energy dampener on a fig that was pushed... There would be trouble!
They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." Robert Downey/Tony Stark

AFAIK this is correct. Had this happen against a Thanos. Anything that doesn't require actions would still be usable, such as Thanos' no-healsies trait and powers like Enhancement, Empower and Probability Control. The character would no longer be able to take actions (may only make power actions to remove token, cannot take power actions). It's broken and needs to be fixed, but lol.
Just want to put my fun two cents in about this piece:
Black Friday our local game store hosts what we call "Cheesefest", 1500 point builds, golden age reset, feats/bfcs, no keywords. Decided to run both Doctor Strange and Felix Faust for 2 d20 fun times.
Final match had me up against the 1200 point monster known as Doctor Manhattan. It was the retail version, but still a nasty, nasty boy.
First two turns helped me win the game, both times Doctor Strange rolled his Any on his d20, I chose the white power that allowed Doctor Strange and adjacent friendlies to be unable to be targeted with ranged attacks. I proceeded to move them all into position near Manhattan so he was in range, but not close enough he could swing on me. Combined with Balls of Fury and Malekith combo, I dropped Manhattan in 4 turns with some seriously epic dice rolls. Doctor Strange will always have a special place in my heart after that night, ended up winning and being crowned the "Cheesiest Player of the Year" until next Cheesefest.
"If a figure were to get BOTH tokens. They would first take a non-free, power action to clear the Crimson Band of Cyttorak token, then next turn could clear the Energy Dampener token, correct?"
Question on the d20 Yellow power: Give Doctor Strange a ranged combat action. Choose a square and make a ranged combat attack targeting all characters within 5 squares of the chosen square. Hit characters are each dealt 3 damage.
Does the square have to be within range/line of sight?? Thanks!! I just got one of these the other day and I can't wait to play him!
Two questions. 1) Did I read the grey power wrong or is it uber broken? You can use Perplex or Outwit 300 times and the opposing player's action total is reduced by 300 (minimum 1?). 2) What do the Bands of Cyttorak do? you put them on their card, and they can be given a power action to remove them, but where is the effect? Or is the word "ONLY" that important and they can ONLY be given a power action to remove them and until then they can't do anything?

I stand corrected on the first point, as it says "non-free actions" not "free actions". That would have been the most broken thing.
Kurokatana, you're exactly right regarding that second point; All a character with a Crimson Band of Cyttorak token can do is take a power action to remove it. Until they do this, they cannot do anything else.
