Gotta admit that those are some great dials. Each one has a unique flavor. Really liking the first one as well. I take it the more expensive no longer needs the pill? I don't know the character and it seems like hes just pushing himself to death giving the opponent a free 60 points if they just out run him long enough. That version seems to need the team more than ever so still a good use of 60 points that must constantly stay on the move.
As far as why that point value: It is one thing to say that the character shouldn't be this point value and doesn't represent the character well. It is quite another thing to say the clix itself is garbage and doesn't have good values for 25 points. The character was good for the points IMO compared to other 25 point figures in the game with steady combat values. I agree that he should've been higher points, but I didn't agree that to spend this 25 points was "easy points". I wanted to see if Baron could make a better dial with all that trash talk....and he did!!
Ouch. On a whim you school Wizkid's design team with apparent easy. Well done. Super Rep.
thanks, reno
even more than the lack of playability, the rex we're getting annoys me because it lacks flavor. it doesn't feel like rex at all or his signature time limit that's both his namesake and his distinguishing characteristic

thanks, I think it would be fun to have reversed click numbers, too. pretty much just flavor, but emphasizes the the ticking clock countdown as you play him

steal energy is definitely more interpretive, an attempt to "steal more time" out of the dial before his miracle wears off, as it's not represented in time but in clicks on that dial

thanks, dude. there's tons of ways to capture rex in clix with flavor. his actual powers are basic, super strong, durability, stamina. it's how he gets his powers and their limitation of time that you get all the flavor in clix and what i'm really missing in hourman
that, and playability
i'll admit 005 is a moving target on cost. he's got tons of clix but he's burning through them, one way or another, so it's harder to peg that price. it will force the player to rush headlong into battle with him and to swing for all their worth, which would capture the adrenaline junkie personality of rex, at the least. i'm going to drop him down to 50.
