Fantastic piece. The RCE can make his stats a bit too much for the character, but the rest of the dial is a great interpretation of The Joker. The anti-Precision Strike trait is appreciated.
Oh man, what a beast. He's weak in up front defence values, but good luck hitting him if he's got a lacky and mastermind. That last click especially is going to be a nightmare. Unless you have outwit, this guy is going to be an bsokute nightmare to play against.
Got to play with this thing today, and it truly was a beast. Giving him RCE with a super Incapacitate, improved targeting, and stealth is just a bit crazy. Traited, mostly penetrating Poison is also no joke (ha!). No matter what click he lands on, he's a big threat.
I just hate the sculpt. I get that it's an iconic picture, but I hate having him on a chair while all this is going on. Maybe there's something about chairs, though. My Rat King did about as much work as him at my last event.
Non-binary. Please refer to me in "they/them" pronouns. Thank you.
Pulled this guy at a prerelease and after playing a couple games with him realized, oh, he's a modern take on the Icons Joker (wearing the same outfit) that people used to put the Armor Piercing feat on and cart around with Fantastic Forces' Lockjaw. Doesn't work quite as well now as then, thanks to an increase in Stealth-busting and the rise of Indomitable, but that anti-Precision Strike trait helps a lot. Pair him and a couple Joker Thugs with UXM Vanisher or TMNT 2 Renet; could be the start of an interesting build.
A bit over the top. Without BCF or a bazooka, Joker shouldn't be doing 6 clicks of damage.
I'm greatly amused that they have to keep making figures immune to Precision Strike because PS is too powerful AND too common, but this fella will see a lot of play. (Especially since I'm putting a Heath Ledger Joker sculpt on the dial. Why so serious?)
He has good stats and powers. But he is not overpowered, because you need good support to play him efficient. You need figs for mastermind fodder, a flier or TK. I played him yesterday. He really did a good job, but I put about 100 pts to support him.
I'm sure his "Mad as a Hatter!" trait was vital at the time of release but with the nerf to Precision Strike I would've preferred him not to have it and be a bit cheaper.
I always crack up when I see this dial. In the supposed "generalist era", wizkids can't keep it in their pants when it comes to bat characters.
that said, crazy dial. really really fun to play. It's just far removed from anything the joker is capable of
The worst part about this dial though, is that it comes out in the same set where we got cheap versions of the Spectre AND Dr Fate, two characters with pretty much limitless power. Evidently in the eyes of Wizkids The Joker is more powerful then both of them combined, even though he's never been a physical powerhouse in the comics, mostly relying on tricks and gimmicks to combat Batman.
