I have only played this Booster in prerelease so far and he's done fantastically. Really looking forward to playing him with the JLI. He, Booster, Captain Atom prime, and the new Martian Manhunter will make JLI teams very potent.

Fantastic piece for sealed and draft! Combining him with the Wizard, I took 1st place with a team that had no business winning as much as it did. With the limited range & indom available in the sealed/draft tournaments of this set, a running shot energy explosion is great for nailing the metal men.

Wow...the few times we get a Booster Gold and he usually turns out to be underwhelming. This and the new blue beetle are just so boring. However I do think it's kind of neat that beetle has enhancement and Gold has empower. And it is good to see super strength on a Booster Gold figure again! He hasn't had that power set since his old rev set! Besides that...bland. Even his probability special wasn't really that we'll thought out. It's nearly cut and paste of the last gold figure. I guess it is nice to have a cheaper option and this guy makes the Blue and Gold duo figure much better!

Booster is the better of the two Blue and Gold remakes. No Skeets bystander generation, though? That would have been perfect for the PC power (instead of featuring it on Booster). Grrr...

I am reminded of that time that Booster was hitting on that French girl, and she turned him down, and Beetle was all like "BWAHAHAHAHA!" and then Booster snapped and broke Ted's neck and then went back in time and found Ted's mom and broke her neck too and then went forward in time and threw 4 touchdowns in one game and married a girl named Peg and had kids named Bud and Kelly and Bud was constantly hitting on that French girl and it created like a time paradox loop which caused the universe to come to an end. I think I'm remembering it correctly. Great comic.

Win/Loss: 13-2 This is the Booster Gold I've waited for forever. Solid values with a great cost. Super mobile and his double-prob makes him offensively a real threat, I feel he is best played aggressive, pushing away and using his powers as they appear. Great combination with Blue Beetle - they make a sick 130 point combo. 2018 EDIT: And with this new Skeets fella, this guy is getting insane!!!
