Here's Odysseus. I considered giving him the Oath of Tyndareus trait but I also figured it'd be best if most of his stuff was from his own story The Odyssey. The special abilities each reflect a different step of his journey.
I kept the damage special around for two clicks just to aid him from a gameplay perspective and the defense special comes up twice because Hermes twice saves Odysseus from ladies who want to keep him around.
The last click has Battle Fury and red powers because Odysseus is hopping mad at the suitors who have moved into his palace and started putting the moves on his wife.
Targeting: Ignores Characters and Hindering terrain Dirus Ulixes: Odysseus can use Perplex. The Gift of Aeolus Squandered: Odysseus and friendly characters with the Ithaca keyword can use Hypersonic Speed. After an action resolves where a friendly character used Hypersonic Speed through this game effect roll a D6, on a result of 6 deal Odysseus 1 unavoidable damage. Escaping Scylla and Charybdis: Odysseus can use Plasticity and Exploit Weakness. Hermes Protect Us From the Wiles of Women: Odysseus can use Super Senses. Odysseus cannot be targeted by opposing characters Perplex, Probability Control, or Mind Control. "Nobody has blinded me!": Odysseus can use Stealth. When an opposing character takes damage from Odysseus' attack counter two of their powers and lower their combat values by -1 until the end of your next turn.
Wow. So there is just a lot happening with this dial I'm not sure where to start. There are definitely some things that are on point, but others I just think need to start from the drawing board if I'm being fair. Here are my thoughts:
1) His stats are too high. He's Odysseus, not Achilles or Heracles, his defense should never be above a 17 in my opinion, and he was never known as a strong fighter. He's more of an Outwit type.
2) There is no plain old Outwit on the dial. The Perplex as a trait is great, but all that does is bring his own stats to ridiculous numbers. There's no reason Odysseus should have a 19 defense turn one after his own perplex, not to mention with the potential buffs of other support pieces.
3)There's just way too much going on. I understand the idea of trying to represent big moments of the Odyssey in his dial, but it's not really playing out well. The 13 movement with Hypersonic Speed is just way too crazy, and that's if you even get to see the click because it's awkwardly placed there once.
3) His range is insane. Most bow wielding characters, especially when you look to LOTR clix, have roughly a range of 7. 9 range is the same as characters like Phoenix, Iron Man, and Odin.
4) I like the idea of his last click maybe representing Odysseus going nuts on his enemies. That's fine. I do think though the BCF might be replaced with something else. Perhaps penetrating or precision strike. (Because if I remember right he killed everyone with a bow, not with swords or blades).
5) I'm not sure why he ignores characters. Hindering terrain sort of makes sense though.
6) Overall I think he needs work. There's just way too much going on and I think the real essence of Odysseus, his ability to Perplex and Outwit his foes and obtain the upper hand, is lost under all the crazy stuff going on and the bulky stats. This also escalates his point cost to a high amount that might not be necessary.
(As a fun little addition you should give the Hydra the Hydra keyword. Would give him a cool use on a Marvel Hydra team. lol)
Also, this figure is a rough one to judge in size. I personally think he might fit on either a 2x2 base, or more realistically, a 2x4 base. (The kind of base the punisher van is on, and the team bases).
Do whichever you think is better. The more I look at his sculpt though the more I think the 2x4 is the best bet. (That means you have 2 dials to complete. A front and back facing dial.) (Or perhaps you can do one dial and then a special Hydra dial that keeps track of heads? Maybe adds bonus's or abilities? Who knows it's up to you.)

Absolutely perfect in my book. He's just a beast and it creates a strategy of "The Minotaur is on its last click. Let me run and hide it within the maze so it can heal up and then come back to fight some more." This then makes it so the opposing player is very aware that when the beast has been weakened, they can't let it escape.

Your points are well taken. I think this may be a case of us having different priorities of what we want the dial to depict. Neither set of priorities is wrong but they are different.
I'll take a stab at nerfing his statline and and de-complicating his powers.

Targeting: Ignores Characters and Hindering terrain Dirus Ulixes: Odysseus can use Perplex. The Gift of Aeolus Squandered: Odysseus possesses the symbol and may carry up to three friendly characters and doesn't modify his speed value when doing so.
The few changes you made make the dial slightly more reasonable I think. But I feel that many of my points still stand, regardless of our differentiating priorities of the dial.
I just can't see myself using this dial with any semblance of a strategy because one moment he's a character with 12 attack after perplex dealing four damage with precision strike, and from stealth he's also shutting down abilities and lowering enemy stats, and the next minute he's a transporter, and then the next minute he becomes a character with exploit weakness and ranged combat expert?
He's kind of like a swiss army knife but you're not allowed to choose whether or not you're using the knife, the screwdriver, the corkscrew, or the fork.
I will say though that the new special movement ability is actually pretty cool. That ability might be great as just a once per game thing. Maybe an epic action? It would mean it's not specific to a single click and won't feel as arbitrary.
Jason is yours! Here are two images of the sculpt being used.
So here's my first draft of Jason. What do you think?

Leader of the Argonauts: Jason can use Leadership. When building your force, characters that share a keyword with Jason possess all keywords Jason possesses. Questing for the Golden Fleece: Once per game when Jason occupies an opposing starting area, give him a double power action to place a Fleece token on his card. While he possesses the Fleece token, Jason can use Energy Shield/Deflection, and is treated as a 300 point character when using Leadership. When Jason is KO'd, you may place the Fleece token on another friendly character; that character can use Leadership as if it were 300 points and possesses Energy Shield/Deflection. The Argo: Jason can use [dolphin transport], and can carry up to four characters if they all possess the Argonaut keyword. Medea's Assistance: Jason can use Incapacitate as if he had a range value of 6. If a friendly character named Medea is on the board, after actions resolve, hit characters take damage equal to his printed damage value. Crew of Heroes: Jason can use Perplex. He can use it normally, or he can be given a power action to modify the same combat value on all characters within 4 squares that share a keyword with him.

I stared at this dial for awhile and for the life of me I cannot find anything wrong with it. I really really like it and I like how none of the abilities are too over the top. I think the Golden Fleece could use a little boost, only because I think the reward she be bigger than just ESD for making it to the other side of the map and taking a turn to use a once per game ability. Then again it's that idea that the fleece isn't like, Impervious, that gives the dial a level of realism. I actually feel like this would be a dial printed but wizkids. If anything maybe he could have a slightly higher point cost? 110? Only because I feel he should be able to use leadership on 100pt figures. But even that kind of change might effect his balance. This is tough. All I'm certain about is that I love the design and the dial a lot and I would really play this piece with an Argonaut team.
Fantastic job. Would you like to claim another character?

Forever Uphill: Movement: Ignores Hindering and Elevated Terrain.
Fruitless Endeavor: Opposing characters within 6 squares of Sisyphus cannot ignore pushing damage. This trait cannot be ignored.
Never Ending Task: Sisyphus may use Incapacitate. When he does, the target is given up to two action tokens if it has none.
The Stone Rolls Back Downhill: STOP! When Sisyphus clears two action tokens, heal him to click 1.

The idea is Battle Fury is so he can't be carried and he's angry at his fate. Wasn't sure how to make a dial for him without making him make opposing characters suffer for their own exertions, like he does.

Haha! I love that special defense ability. This is such a cool interpretation. He just accurately feels like he is weighing down the opposing team. It's pretty cool. I have no real negative things to say about this. I think you hit the nail on the head. Awesome job.
another you'd like to claim?
With this dial we just hit 16 characters claimed. We're 14% through the set list and it's only been a couple days!
And I can base them on the actual Homer material i.e., The Iliad, correct?
No rush, (because I literally expected this project to take a year to finish), but are you still working on Achilles? If not I just want to unclaim him from the setlist so others may be inclined to design his dial. If you are still working on him take your time. I'm only asking so I can keep an accurate tally of what has been done/ what's being worked on.
