Anyone here a fan of the old MLB Showdown CCG from WotC?

There's a successor game coming out this year, Clutch Baseball.

For the most part it seems like they're taking the best of Showdown and adding to it.

Pro: Small Production Team, very interactive so far.

Pro: IndieGoGo campaign with great perks like complete sets.

Pro: Added Stadium cards with game effects (players on that city's roster are immune to the negative effects).

Con: DH only. I'll still be playing by old Showdown "Pitchers Bat" rules when appropriate.

Con: No Player images. They got MLBPA licensing for player names, but the image license is apparently obscenely expensive - plus even if they did get images they'd have to photo edit to remove all logos AND change the fonts of names & numbers.
