Call in Help - At the beginning of your turn, you may activate one ID Card per force. To activate an ID Card, choose a friendly character that has no action tokens and is equal to or more points than the ID Character's starting line. Give the chosen character a power action, place the ID Character adjacent to it, and then remove this ID Card from the game and your opponent scores it. The ID Character can't be carried, given double power actions, replaced, or assigned resources. The ID Character returns to your sideline immediately: (a) at the beginning of your next turn, (b) if it's not within 5 squares of the chosen character, or (c) if it is removed from the map by another game effect.

POSSESS THE LOCALS: When a countdown click appears, stop clicking the dial, place a Spirit marker in Deadman's square, and place him on this card. At the beginning of your turn, if Deadman is on this card, click his dial once clockwise. When you do and a countdown click is no longer present, place him within 4 squares of the Spirit marker, remove that marker, and Deadman can't be given a non-free action this turn. If Deadman is on his card and no friendly characters are on the map, he is KO'd.
COUNTDOWN CLICKS
Quote
[C]A Countdown Click is represented by a single large number on a click of a character’s dial with no combat values. A character on a Countdown Click can’t be moved, placed, targeted, attacked, assigned an action, assigned an action token, damaged, or healed, unless an effect specifies otherwise. This can't be ignored. Rules for turning the dial when on Countdown Clicks are found on the character’s card. A character can’t be healed onto a Countdown Click unless a game effect specifies otherwise.
[C]If a character with countdown clicks is off the map for any reason other than its own countdown click effect, its countdown clicks are considered KO clicks instead.
I am wondering if there would be any chance that Deadman "stay in the game" after he leave the maps when he goes on his countdown click from an attack. Is he "considered KO'd" for other game effects (no longer considered a ID character) based on the Jocasta ruling, or does the "countdown click" rule from prevents him from returning to the sideline. Wizkids didn't respond to this question. I am wondering if someone else could ask them for me.
The ID Character returns to your sideline immediately: (a) at the beginning of your next turn, (b) if it's not within 5 squares of the chosen character, or (c) if it is removed from the map by another game effect.
The Jocasta ruling is irrelevant, because Deadman is never KO'd in your scenario. None of the Countdown Clicks stuff really matters in this situation, either. His effect tries to remove him from the map, at which point the ID Card kicks in and puts him back on the sideline, simple as that.
