I was watching my friends playing a game and they both did it on several occasions.

I told them I didn't think it was allowed per the rules for close combat expert, but they told me a friend of theirs who was a judge told them they couldn't user Super Strength or Enhancement, but could use other powers. Is this true?

no...does not work!They are both separate actions.
Charge and BCF is possible, but charge and CCE is as impossible as Running Shot and CCE!

Charge is a Power Action that allows a character to use a Close Combat Action as a Free Action.


Close Combat Expert is a Power Action. As such, it cannot be used with Charge, because Charge only allows Close Combat Actions.


Attacking with an object in close combat (with Super Stregnth) requires only a close combat attack (not nessesarily a Close Combat Action). Since Charge allows for a Close Combat Action (which can be used to make a close combat attack), you can attack with an object during a Charge action.


Enhancement adds to damage dealt when an adjacent friendly figure makes a ranged combat attack. Charge only allows for a Close Combat Action. Close Combat Actions cannot be used to make a ranged combat attack, so Enhancement cannot be used during a Charge action.
