both Bruce and Alfred FROM THE SAME SET have the keyword.
True but they're family, this is bitter "I can do it on my own" Batman.
that said, he does have the team friendly Justice League keyword... It doesn't make sense, you're right.
Brings back memories of the only obvious piece without the Weapon X keyword...was Weapon X!

Yeah, I am so going to house rule the Batfamily keyword onto him...mostly because I want to play him with the Batcycle.
I wish I could tell you that Krypto the Superdog fought the good fight, and the Bat let him be. I wish I could tell you that - but Heroclix is no fairy-tale world.

I just sort of realized that this Anti-Kryptonian Batman can also help tear down even that most durable Kryptonian; Superdoom. He has the Superman Ally to get around SD's protection, the Outwit to counter a reducer, the nice range to get away with it, and then he's opened up SD for whomever else to come along, and steamroll him. If Doomzod actually does appear in BvS (the movie, not this set), this power set arrangement will have been even more appropriate. Sure lots of other people noticed, but it's nice to see, just a set after Superdoom, something to try and help counter him, and that isn't made of weaksauce, like the MoS Jor'El.

Technically it's TWO sets after Superdoom. World's Finest came out before this one.
armored bats 150 pts.
jacosta possesing bats 25 pts.
toy master 30 pts.
white rabbit 70 pts.
brainiac possesing the rabbit 25pts.
an annoying 300 pt. no resource team.
I was struggling to find a good Batman to use before this (I don't have any of his TW or WF versions). I've got his JW Outsiders one, but not enough good Outsiders to make it worthwhile. This guy seems like something I'd use, even if it's not really "Batman" to me. It's going to be hard to justify not running this thing in a Gotham City team. Running for 6 to shoot range 8 with penetration is awesome, topped off with solid numbers, Impervious & Outwit. Take a hit or two, turn into a Colossus-ish close beater. Finish off with what really feels like Batman to me, a versatile martial arts master. Oh yeah, and let's not forget how his team abilities give him full advantage of hindering terrain while completely disregarding its negatives. This is the bat ready to fight! March 2018 Edit: Having played with this piece again in Sealed (albeit just one round... no turnout...), I've been able to re-evaluate this piece from a seat of some more experience. Yeah, his first 2 clicks are ridiculously awesome! If you can keep him from taking a hit, which is reasonably achievable aside from Colossal Retaliation, this Batman will easily perform well. Batman + Superman Ally TA's, Running Shot, Penetration, Outwit, and all at 8 range with the ability to Running Shot for 6 speed give this thing so much capability. Impervious is very nice, but it can be... exploited... and thus his weakness begins to show. Knock him out of his plane, and he easily loses 100 points for me. He can still work, but it becomes a lot harder. Still, all that said, maybe he's a little overcosted, but if you can play him with good positioning on the right map, he can be stellar, indeed. Yeah, the lack of Batman Family is a bit upsetting, so he'll rep Gotham hard!

Non-binary. Please refer to me in "they/them" pronouns. Thank you.
