Does Mo9lly always generate knockback when she uses her speical CCE or does she only knock people back 4 squares when she generates knockback ie if she rolls doubles?

KNOCK KNOCK: Molly Hayes can use Close Combat Expert, but as a close combat action. When she does and hits, the target is knocked back 4 squares instead of any other knock back.

I was wondering this myself tonight and had the exact same concern. To ME, it reads like it only replaces the amount of knockback distance taken if knockback is scored, not that it automatically generates knockback itself.

But I could be wrong. Anyone put this to WizKids yet?

When you use CCE and hit, it automatically generates knockback of 4 squares. If you rolled doubles, knockback is still 4. That's how it reads.

Did you use CCE? Yes.
Did you hit? Yes.
Deal damage, knock the target back 4 squares.
