So I'm running a 300 point sealed event this Saturday. Now I know people are gonna flip their #### if some one pulls cosmic soider-man or the goblin king. Was curious what teams people can come up with using only the set to combat either figure. The figures will be on a solo team if max points cause I don't think there's a 25 point figure in the set, maybe oni hulk.

I've told my group to do their research for ways to beat the two figures so we don't have a bunch of people rage quitting.

I found success with an Armor Army using the 40 pt Iron Man. Giving Plus 2 damage to characters with the armor keyword for range attacks is nasty. Plus if he gets on that last click he is good.
Maybe Iron Punisher? The Doctor Stark with Prob?

Agaist some OP Clixes in a sealed is always a Chore to get by..You might lose that game and get nothing..like when i played agaist a Chase Pool Captain At DP&XF Sealed.Team had Chipmunk Hunk so i managed to get 20 points atleast.

But If yu managed to get good ranged attackers Like Thor Or Couple of them and/or Iron man I`ll say tat you try to go and shoot Goblin King full of Holes as fast as you can..Some Prob from Dr Strange Tony is also a good idea Or Prob anyways since outwit does not work.

We had our release event last Tuesday and someone pulled a Cosmic Spider and lost all his games(he's one of the better players too). I don't know how his other games went but I ended up winning pretty easily and my team was common Dr. Stark, uncommon Dr. Stark, common Ironman, Spider Ma'am. I used the plasticity on common Stark, and Ma'am/Ironman to keep action tokens on him. Then with my two probs he never hit me. I imagine Goblin King would be harder but not impossible. This set is actually really fun for sealed/draft I think.

It depends on the player and what he/she gets..usually i haave kinda 2Oh..Fck" moments when i have face some clix that i know is hard to get K.O:ed with..But sealed are usually fun events and since this set isnt so big thing to me i will take my maybe 0 night sealed with a smile on my face and what ever new clixes i get.

Out-auctioning them is good. Saw some success with Peter the Hunter and his pile o' pogs. I didn't face Goblin but took down the Pete team that did with a team of Iron Punisher, Dr. Stark & Nico. Nico can get tricky but dropping a runnning shot-pulse wave on a pile of pogs is very rewarding.
