Love that FREE Support. Adding +1 to the d6 roll will be a big deal for monsters, especially anyone with a longer dial. The perplex works well to increase that 9 attack value. Hopefully Frankenstein's Monster won't be too hard to add to my collection.

Unless Support is changing with the new PAC you can't use any modifiers with a Support.

"Increase the d6 result by 1" isn't a 'modifier' in that context. "Modifiers" are use to refer to increases or decreases in combat values.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that his perplex works with the old asm010 Frankenstein's Monster. Even if I can't get the chase from this set, I can still get some use out of this guy.

If he can use Support as FREE can he use Support as a power action as well?

i thought that the asm set had nice monster type pieces.. this set is looking better every time i come to the units section. this dude is a must have for any monster themed team. low attack seems to be an issue, but what do you want for a 30pt monster support piece. could definetly keep the ff solomon grundy around a little longer before he respawns. thats always nice. he surely has some options, i will be needing one myself. overall, i like it

paired with the chase kalibak from the legion of super villains set, or even the abe lincoln pieces in undead, this peice is THE centerpiece for any monster team.

Should be worded that Doc's target 'contains the name Frankenstein'. That would allow him to perplex DC's Frankenstein as well as Marvel's, and would allow for future expansions such as Bride of Frankenstein.
