Jack Kirby is responsible for so much amazing work, I don't think I can really say enough about him, but if you want a love letter to his work, Ultimates2 #100 does a pretty good job.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
At the climax of the story (indeed, the entire arc for the 12-issue comic), Eternity summons all the previous Eternity incarnations to beat down the First Firmament (insane original universe).
"The Fourth is Missing. He is the Pilgrim, the True Believer Who Journeys Into Mystery. One Day, He Will Return."
Plus general cosmic awesomeness that you'd expect from Ewing writing powerhouses like Carol, Monica, etc.

I took a break from Ultimates, but based on your recommendation, I will definitely pick up that issue.
On the subject of Kirby's 100th, I have really enjoyed the celebrations at both Marvel and DC.
For those who are unfamiliar, here are the ones to which I am referring:
DC Kirby One-Shots
- DC has picked a selection of their characters that were created by Jack Kirby and released a series of one-shot issues. Each of these had new stories by current writers and artists, with some reprinted Kirby material as a back-up. The tributes have really exuded appreciating for the King, and the reprint material seems to have been very well-chosen, especially the "Strange Stories of the D.N.A. Project in The Sandman one-shot.
Marvel Kirby One-Shots
- Marvel's one-shots feature no new material, but are inexpensive reprints of classic Kirby stories. At a glance, this may seem a little inadequate compared to the way DC did their tribute, but with such a huge quantity of work at Marvel, it seemed very cool to see nice reprints of Kirby's own work and let it speak for itself. I know I picked up a few of them I had never read before and was blown away all over again.
If you guys see any of these at your local comic shop, give them a try.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
