We have less than a month to go before the ROC World Cup begins. That said I want to go over things you need to know about the weekend including hotel availability and changes from last year. Keep reading to find out...

* Our hotel block sold out so I have added more rooms both doubles and singles to our block as of today. The deadline for getting rooms at our price is midnight on September 29th. That's roughly a week left to get your rooms.

* Our Murder Mystery Dinner is now on Friday night and is earlier. Each year we have sold out with people being turned away trying to get in. We have availability for 140. The cost is 15.00. As soon as you arrive purchase your tickets!

* Battle Royals, Hard Roc's, and Roc & Rolls are now all being run in the back of the room by Dice Addictions. This means that there are more hours to qualify for the Cup or add on to points and byes already earned.

* The Team event has been enhanced. We will play Swiss and cut to the Top 8. We have added in more maps, bricks of product and 2017 convention exclusives as well as op LE for prizes. In addition to that the winning team will now be able to design a map for 2018.

* Critical Clix willbe hosting a welcome event on Thursday night in the bar area. This will be a 3v3 team event with prizes. Whether you are participating in the event or not please feel welcome to come and join the fun.

* Married with Clix will be handling this year's live streaming as well as media reporting.

* We also have a few surprises but you will have to wait and see what they are.

Just came out of retirement after a one year break... I'll be there. Bringing the boys and hopefully still got it. Fingers crossed.

Just to be clear, if you have a bye for the semi-finals (say from states) then you can still register when you show up on Friday right? Cause it says pre-register is over so just wanted to make sure I didn't miss my chance.
