NEW MECHANISM: I wanted to try something different with the armors in this set. To that end, I would have an Armor symbol in the defense slot.
I could see the symbol looking something like this:
But since I can't create my own icon for the bbcode and because of the similarities to vehicles mechanics, I have used the vehicle symbol () to represent the Armor symbol in this set, though I will denote this on the post.
Special rules for armors (based on Vehicle rules):
Armor Symbol:
Armors can not be assigned a resource.
Armors can not be given an action unless they have a pilot or AUTOPILOT.
As long as this Armor has no pilot, adjacent friendly standard characters have “POWER: Become this Armor's pilot.” Pilots are removed from the map and placed on the Armor’s HeroClix card. A character is only a pilot as long as it’s on the Armor’s card due to an action that made it the pilot.
If an Armor has a pilot, it has “POWER: Place the pilot adjacent.”
Armor modify their Attack +1, if the printed attack value of the pilot is higher than the Armor's printed attack value.
When an Armor is KO’d, place the pilot in or adjacent to its square and roll a d6.
1-3 : Deal the pilot 2 unavoidable damage.
4-6 : Deal the pilot 1 unavoidable damage.

I'm very interested in seeing where this goes. One of the things I felt like the Iron Man 3 set needed but didn't get was an equip armor mechanic. It was pretty much the crux of the climactic action scene of the movie that most of the set built itself from: Tony hopping from suit of armor to suit of armor fighting the Extremis soldiers.
ASK ME ONCE I’LL ANSWER TWICE JUST WHAT I KNOW I’LL TELL BECAUSE I WANNA!
SOUND DEVICE AND LOTS OF ICE I'LL SPELL MY NAME OUT LOUD BECAUSE I WANNA!
First off I want to say I think the idea of the Armor symbol is really cool, and is a nice take on the vehicle mechanic, It's a great way to represent Iron Man's armor in clix.
Iron Man(model 4): Nice budget dial for an old school Iron Man armor, I like the traited Running Shot and how it leaves his speed slot open for other speed powers like Force Blast. My favorite power though is the Reroute Power special, I love give and take type powers like that. Yours is simple, effective, and full of flavor, that helps give you the feeling that your piloting Tony's armor. However I might add a caveat that he can't chose to reduce his speed value, because it seems to me like on his first click, if you chose to apply the -1 to his speed you wouldn't have to give up much. But that's just a minor quibble with a great design.
Tony Stark: Tony here is a super support piece, I like the PC special, I can see that being really handy and I enjoy the fact that he gives any suit he occupies a buff by bringing Outwit. The trait is flavorful and a nice means of keeping his dial in check for the cost, but it still doesn't keep him from being a good figure.
Anyway, this is a really cool set, I'd totally buy it up if it were real. If Wizkids likes doing Iron Man dials so bad, this should be how they do them.
You know I'm going to subscribe man, I can't wait to see what you come up with.
I want to see what you do for the Silver Centurion armor, it's always been my favorite Iron Man suit.
Gracious. Silver Centurion holds a special place in my heart too. I really enjoyed that run on Iron Man from Tony loosing himself in the bottle to him reclaiming the mantle with the new silver.

I was thinking about how IM3 would have been a great set for something like this. Thanks for the interest.

Thank you. I thought I'd lead off with what's at the core of the set.

Thanks for the feedback and support. I thought about limiting the damage special to attack, damage, and range, but the elegance of the power's text made me decide to stop. Since it's replace then modify, dropping speed would still shorten your reach on the running shot to 4, but it really does make it a no-brainer to drop speed to boast almost anything else on the dial. Maybe I'll have to rethink it.
I'm glad you think Tony's trait is not too limiting.

Stealing Secrets: When Spymaster hits with a close attack, instead of dealing damage, you remove any objects equipped to the hit character and place them in Spymaster's square.
EMP Disk: Incapacitate. When he uses it as a CLOSE action, after resolutions, hit characters with the armor keyword are dealt 2 penetrating damage.
Undetected: Stealth. Shape Change. When he uses Shape Change successfully, Spy Master may choose an opposing character's team ability to use until Spy Master fails a Shape Change roll.
█ TED CALLOWAY (Sidestep)
█ ESCAPE ARTIST (Plasticity)
█ ELECTRO-NUNCHAKU (Precision Strike)
█ KEVLAR VEST (Toughness)
█ DETERMINED (Willpower)
Spymaster: This guy really does feel like a master of stealth and espionage, I'm really attracted to his trait as it's definitely something to be feared in this post-TMT era of clix, making this guy a threat regardless of damage potential. The EMP power is cool as well, I've tried to figure out what would be a good way to represent an EMP before, and I think you've pretty much figured it out, great job.

I've done a few Alpha Flight designs in my day. I hope these don't disappoint. I've been waiting for a Roger Bochs and a Madison Jeffries figure for a while. So I figured I should make one while I wait

Is there a way for Kang to remove the "Anti-Matter" thing so he can take actions again? Not trying to be rude, but it seems that once Kang POWERs for the shield, he is stuck, and the opponent can't win. Kang could trigger it if he is last man standing while he has even a slight point advantage and be guaranteed the win.
Once that is cleared up though, this will be an awesome Kang! Both to play as, and play against! That's what I look for in a character.
Must say, the Armor Ability is truly a brilliant idea. I would love a bunch of suits for my dudes! Put my Master Chief, into an Iron suit and make "Iron Master Chief"! I will personally look for the perfect amalgam name for whomever I would put in these. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, Kang's shield drops at the beginning of your next turn. It basically protects you for your opponent's turn. He can still use Ouwit and Prob Control while the shield is on.
