He is a taxi with some small close combat proweress. His damage values are really only good against brittle ranged attackers and support pieces. He simply costs too much for a figure that plays that role.
The dial seems more like a 40-pointer. The skin color (blue) is innacurate for this fig -- IIRC, only the "Archangel" version of the character had the blue skin, certainly not the Angel who initially joined X-Factor.
One of the best Angels yet. Looks majestic and plays wonderfully for 50 points.

Not true. He had the blue skin for a LONG time, and this was one of the costumes. He went back to Angel after losing the metal wings, but still had blue skin for awhile. Don't rate on things you only "think" are true.
Not exactly sure what role he fits in, too expensive to just taxi, so taxi/secondary attacker? Damage and attack are never impressive, but that's comic-accurate in my view, Angel's stand outs are his speed and manueverability (defense, ES/D).
Great scupt (and accurate for his career after he lost the metal wings). Damage, speed, and defense values are appropriate. He's also the most cost effective Angel we have.
I have one major complaint, though. He's not a transporter. Angel doesn't charge. He flies by, hits the bad guy, and keeps going. I realize this was a starter set, but IMO you really can't make an accurate Angel without giving him the ability to move after he hits.
Why oh WHY does he have sooo much charge combined with Soooo much energy shield deflection? They don't work together. His defense is relatively high from range, but he has zero range! With all that charge, the player will be tempted to use it and will put himself in a tight spot. His attack values are horrible...he should've had +2 to all attack values and the transporter ability. That way the av he currently has would ne what he's attacking with while using hypersonic-lite because of the -2 modifier. The damage value wouldn't tick me off so much if he had incapacitate all through his dial. Heck...give him all zero damage and a full dial of incapacitate. This figure is NOT good for 50 points. I have 29-39 point figures that could mop the floor with this guy. (Spymaster, jigsaw) wonderful sculpt though.
Honestly, there are parts of this angel that are good and are bad. But playing him in a game (I only did this once) makes you just want to cry. WK has no respect for this piece, either making it too op or bad
Win/Loss: 0-2 This Angel had the job of pinging those top dial support pieces. Huge charge range on a flier lets him pick his target wherever they might hide. Below average value by 2017's standards means he needs support. I really liked this sculpt a lot.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
