Anyone bought this board game?

I have the other 4, and will eventually get it. This one is 30% more expensive than the previous versions. And, by many reports, the figures are cheaper plastic and often come broken.

Are there any other new materials warranting the increased price?

Chiming in mostly to subscribe to the thread.

I have the first three, but never bothered with elemental evil because it felt like it got kind of repetitive. I played through all the scenarios in the first two with a group of friends, but have only played a few of the scenarios in Drizzt with my daughter.

There were some interesting twists they came up with in each new game, but not enough to feel like it was significantly different from the ones before (although Drizzt did seem like a pretty big power jump.)

Was Elemental Evil different enough to be worth it? Is Tomb of Horrors?
