Just checked pg.9 of the rule book, it essentially describes what constitutes this and beginning of the turn does; remember the turn phases, this is ahead of the action phase.
His card clearly states "Beginning of the turn", it is underlined too.
The F Monster can attack (with a successful roll) every turn.
Frankenstein has sidestep? He walks like he has a load in his drawers... May just be the era that sticks out to me (Boris Karlov 30s - 40s) but that doesn't seem very accurate. Just a thought.
Meandaddypowers : Frankenstein has sidestep? He walks like he has a load in his drawers...
I guess he's covering some ground on the all MOVE turns but he can shuffle out of combat or with 2 tokens, shuffle away in a the direction he fancies...
He can shuffle into combat if he wants.
TRAIT: Drawers Full. Frankenstein's monster can use Sidestep to find new pants.
Going by book accuracy, Frankenstein's Monster is bad. He is a good piece though. To be closer to the character in the book, he should've started with stealth and some support powers to represent the time he was friendly. He could then have a stop click where he realizes people will always hate him. He would keep stealth since he would pop out of the shadows, kill one of Frankenstein's family members, and the hide again. He could have a power to represent how he strangled his victims. I know he is probaly based off of movies, but it would be nice to have him based of the book, Frankenstein written by Mary Shelley in 1818. Never the less he is still a good character.
i don't get it..
what's the advantage or what is even special about RRRGH! ?
it's not FREE? he should be able to attack right away, anyway?
-lost
It's not FREE because it's not an action. Beginning of turn, roll your d6. If it's a 4-6 immediately make an attack with Frankie. Then later in the turn, Frankie can be given a costed action to make an attack (or to do anything that a costed action would allow him to do). It's a possible 2 attacks per turn, or an attack when he's tokened out.
I really want to like this figure, but sadly every time I've used it it gets nuked by everything. I'm still playing around with different combinations of teams to see what I can do to make it better, but my hopes are dwindling.
How does he do in a free for all vs: AA 041 Frankenstein
Trinity War 040 Frankenstein
ASM 010 Frankenstein's Monster
in a free for all, each on their own team?
(without Dr Frankenstein helping any of them)
The DC versions (AA and TW) have swords and Blades Claws Fangs so that might be an advantage.
