The Pitt: When Starbrand is KO'd, roll a d6 that can't be rerolled, minimum result 2. Deal 3 penetrating damage to all characters within that many squares and then choose another friendly character. That character modifies its combat values by +1 this game.

Assume that Starbrand is the final character on your force to be KOed.

Does The Pitt still trigger, thus allowing a final retaliatory strike, potentially, or does the game immediately end?

WINNING THE GAME
A HeroClix player is “defeated” when they have no characters on their force with a point value of 1 or more points and nothing is resolving. Until then, players are “undefeated.”

TRIGGERED EFFECTS
Triggered effects are triggered by certain events during the game. There are three types of triggered effects.

• After Resolutions triggered effects. “After resolutions” triggered effects wait until the current action or special triggered effect has fully resolved
to begin resolving itself.

Pitt will trigger, wait for the action to resolve then begin resolving itself.

Once it has resolved, then the game will be over (as, at that point, the player will be defeated).

The KO trigger will happen before "After Resolutions" effects such as Pushing Damage.

The game does not end until Pushing Damage and "After Resolution" triggers complete.
