You know you can't use Flurry and Exploit, unless it was recently changed. They are both close combat actions that give you close combat attacks.
When did I say you could use them together?
With indomitable, you can shoot someone at range for 4, or flurry on the tie-up goons sent your way, or exploit whatever dumb brick they sent your way, and all they get in exchange is some mastermind fodder.

Meant to say with mastermind. Due to his ability to have it outwitted (as Thugit pointed out), starter bane all the way. For fun you could try the 113 point bane, but the damage output of the 100 point bane makes all the others pretty undesirable.
This is a near perfect version of a ROOKIE comic book Bane. Rocket laucher see Batman 491 (one click would have been fine). Perplex for his mindgame games and strategy throughout the Knightfall series. Mastermind for his lackeys Bird, Trogg and Zombie. Underground TA for helping his lackeys escape Santa Prisca. Toughness, he is tough but he is human and not wearing armor. Flurry, he pummels Bruce before breaking him with Vemon, EW. Charges into the fight with Jean Paul instead of planning like he did with Bruce. Even soldier keyword fits because was he a military prisoner.
This Bane matches up good against BA Killer Croc for Batman 489 and Dect. 660 and of course CR Batman both 90 points.
Who ever says that "If it wasn't for the bullet nobody'd fear the gun", has never been pistol whipped.
Shame on aaou104 Hulk once and LE Rulk twice.
Definitely did not, but I think it was in one of the trailers at least. I was waiting the entire movie for him to do it, especially because he already looked like XXX.
I love this figure as a representation of him in the finale. He never used a missile launcher, but those tumblers sure did, and he was surrounded by mooks for most of that time frame, leaving alot to get through before you got to him (for the mastermind). In his later dial he then moves into a more direct combat oriented power selection for his climactic showdown with batman.
Then again, this is a rookie, so that might not have even been the intent of this figure :/

Your explanation single handedly made me not hate this figure, the whole time I was wondering where they came up with this figure. It maybe a rookie but I would say you are right on the money.
Yeah this is deffinately the 'bomb all structures so there are no shadows for batman to hide in' type of bane. This wasn't intended to be the brawling god, but more of the mastermind genius. He could've had leadership for just this dial!
Were there no such thing as Mercenaries, this would be a very lackluster figure. With a few Mercenaries backing him up, though, this version of Bane is deceptively deadly. One of the better Underworld figures.
I can't see myself ever willingly hurting him to use that Trait unless a huge area of the map is affected... but the rest of this Bane is great for 90 points. The nu-Outwit can still probably strip him of either Mastermind or Toughness, but not both together (in the spirit of 'cannot be countered' applying to the SP itself).
Bane should be ambling about making threats with his rocket launcher at first (dude can deal 5 damage at range if he chooses, but you should probably get him to 10/4 with the RCE+Perplex). Give him a 19 defense on off turns, or if you plan to use Mastermind just reduce opponent's damage to help. His slow speed is a bit of a hindrance, so if he's hit off the rocket launcher you'll have to find him a way forward with some fresh fodder.
That Flurry with Perplex on click 2 can dish out 6 damage... potentially his most lethal click if you pack some Prob.
