This guy just enters the point bracket of the crazy-good-close-combatants that includes Karnak and Gamora. He stands up to the best based on a few things: he's at the low end of cost, he can recover from an injury thanks to the TA, and he can use the League ATA to get close to targets. Because his first click is where he's meant to be, you'll want to Perplex his defense up to an excellent 19 on the turn you creep in. Charge + 2 damage may not scare many people, but his Willpowered follow-up with CCE is what your opponent will be trying to avoid. Consider not bothering to set up a Charge and just moving 8 spaces to base someone. If he's sporting Leap/Climb, go hang out next to a failing ally and wait for them to drop to get your healing. Choose targets wisely - he can break Invulnerability on 5 out of 7 clicks... don't get caught on the wrong one!

The 2013 change to CCE means Bronze Tiger now has the option of sporting a 12 attack/3 damage on his first click. Or a 13 attack/2 damage. Or the good ol' 11 attack/4 damage.
Whatever you choose, he's still great for the points.
WIN/LOSS: 5-2 This was a holy terror when he was new and for a number of sets afterwards. Even in 2018 his starting click is on par. 18 defenses aren't what they used to be but he is still effective. He might be better than the JW version for the same points but the lack of click numbers and old base kinda means the new one is taking his spot. Now if only he would live up to this guy's record...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
