Assume that I am running a character, such as the new Batman that comes equipped with a Batarang, on my force.

Assume that I am using the Batman ID card to potentially call in the same Batman that would have the same Batarang.

It was established that characters called in from the sideline would get their starting equipment (see Thunderstrike ruling on the WizKids Rules Forum).

1: If I call in the Batman from my sideline, would he get the Batarang that would be a duplicate of the Batarang already in play?

2: What happens if, instead, you run two of this same Batman on your starting force? Would you get one Batarang, or would you get two Batarangs? (In essence, this is asking whether Equipment attached to characters comes from your Starting Force, Sideline, or from Outside the Game.)

Uniqueness only matters for your Starting Force & Sideline while building your force. The Batarang/Weapons/etc. come from outside the game once the game starts. You can play a Batarang as one of your Objects and a dozen of the rare Batman, and they still each get their own Batarang.
